Blog Title

So, earlier this evening I was trying to finish up my first post before a friend came over after church - and I totally forgot to say why I had named my blog "The Way I Am." First of all, I love Ingrid Michaelson and I enjoy her song of that name. (And I discovered her before the song was in the Old Navy sweater commercials. So there.) I think her voice, songs, and attitude are just fantastic. I even used her remake of Elvis' "Can't Help Falling in Love" for my bridesmaids to walk down the aisle to. Look it up. It's completely beautiful. Anyway, "The Way I Am" is my ringtone for when the husband calls me...even though he sometimes makes fun of how much I listen to Ingrid. What? I know. I try not to get mad. ;) Back to topic...I thought it was a good name for a blog. Don't be expecting overly personal blogs from this girl, but I plan to write about recipe triumphs (and disasters), music I love/hate, TV I love/hate, things I believe in and why, and the like. Should be fun!
